Theatre: ‘I am woman, hear me roar’

We are stoked to announce that at this year’s Channel Country Ladies Day we will be experiencing a performance where you, the women of the Channel Country, are the headline act! The theatre production will be a storytelling celebration of women on the land and the daily challenges that you face. Women have been joining in with Di’s workshops as she has ‘Homestead Hopped’ her way across western Queensland and will be sharing their stories in a theatre piece on the Saturday night of Ladies Day.

Workshop: ‘It’s funny now…storytelling meets comedy’

Everyone’s got that story that’s funny now but maybe wasn’t so funny when it happened. Learn the craft of sharing your tragic tidbit it a lighthearted way that connects us all and tickles the ribs with the opportunity to perform just to the group or even to the whole crowd. Workshop led by guest artist & storytelling extraordinaire, Di Wills.
