Program of Event
Red Ridge Artsbreak Area

Our Red Ridge Artsbreak Area has been a component of Ladies Day since it’s beginnings in 2012. The Artsbreak Area comprises drop in/ drop out arts activities and workshops that allow you to experiment with a variety of mediums under the guidance of both local and internationally renowned artists.

Red Ridge (Interior Queensland) is a local organisation that helps create healthy and resilient communities in remote western Queensland by bringing people together in art and cultural activities. Red Ridge enriches lives and protect local heritage by working with our communities, government and donors. Their focus is the social and economic health of our own communities and all who live here. This year some of the activities in the Artsbreak Area are supported by the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund through Flying Arts; and the Regional Voice Program of WOW – Women of the World Festival, supported by the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation.
